Bugatti cars are renowned for their exclusivity, with customers willing to spend vast sums to personalize their vehicles.

According to Mate Rimac, CEO of Bugatti, the brand’s owners are paying up to $530,000 on top of the car’s base price for customizations. This amount is significantly higher than other luxury cars, such as the Ferrari 12Cilindri, priced at $464,000.

The brand takes customization to an even higher level with exclusive models like the Mistral World Record Car. This roofless hypercar was tailor-made for a mysterious buyer who already owns other record-breaking models from the brand, such as the Veyron and the Chiron. Additionally, the Mistral debuted on the market with a price of $5.28 million, a million more than the Bolide, which is restricted to racetracks.

Bugatti’s exclusivity is further highlighted by the limited production of its cars, such as the Tourbillon, priced at $4 million. Although cheaper than the Mistral, it remains exceptionally expensive. The brand plans to produce only 250 units of this new model, making it more exclusive than its predecessors, the Veyron and Chiron, which were limited to 450 and 500 units, respectively.

The price of cars like the La Voiture Noire, which sold for $11.6 million, further underscores the notion that exclusivity comes at an extraordinarily high cost in the Bugatti universe.
